The ninth in the series of Taylor Triangle reunions will be held in Lake City, Florida on Saturday, June 21, 2003. We hope that you can come. Columbia County is the center for the Florida portion of the Taylor clan. Robert, James, Viney, and Ann went Columbia County in the 1850's with Ann returning to Newberry County. Noah, who had gone to Dyer County, Tennessee, moved to nearby Bradford County in the 1870s. I expect a good attendance from locals. It will be a great time to combine a reunion visit with a beach vacation or a trip to Disney World. I plan to use it as an excuse for a beach vacation.

Tour: After the reunion a tour of family related sites in the Lake City area will be held for those interested.
Church: On Sunday, those still in town may attend Pleasant Grove Methodist Church (Church of James and Robert)
As has become a tradition with these reunions, there will be informal get-togethers at the main motel (Holiday Inn) on Friday and Saturday evenings. As we did in 2000, we have a hospitality room adjoining my room for our use on Friday and Saturday. Locals are encouraged to join the out-of-towners at the motel. These informal get-togethers have become one of the highlights of the reunions. Norma Horton and Helen Craft, representing Russell Taylor Junior's family, have graciously volunteered to provide refreshments for the hospitality room.

Motels:
This is the motel where I'll be staying. It will be the unofficial headquarters. I've made special arrangements with the motel to give us a special rate and provide a hospitality room on Friday and Saturday evenings. The rate is $59 rather than the normal rate of $73. If 10 or more rooms are rented by the group, the hospitality room is free.
