George Taylor died young, even before his father. He spent his entire life in Newberry Co. He married Julia Ann Mills and had two children. The first, Christiana Elizabeth Taylor, died at 2 1/2 months. The second was Nancy A. Taylor. She married a James Patrick Blair.

We have record of their descendants up to the current time. Most of them have remained in the Newberry area with surnames of Blair, Livingston, Alewine, Lake, Wiggins, Long, Nichol, and others.  We are now in contact with several of his descendants. Many are descended from Nancy's daughter Mattie.  Gertrude Force of Silverstreet is a great-grandaughter of George through Nancy's son John Chesley.

George died in September of 1847, a year before his father. Julia died fifty years later on June 6, 1897. George is buried in the Zion United Methodist Church in Prosperity, SC.
